What we promise, in numbers

Up and working

99.9% of the month

About 43 minutes in a month is the most we allow ourselves. Anything beyond that is written down below, whether anyone noticed or not.

Back on within

4 hours

If the records themselves had to be put back from a copy, the house is working again within four hours of us starting.

Work that could be lost

1 hour at the very most

Copies are taken continuously through the day, so the furthest back a house could ever be sent is the last hour's typing.

Copies kept

Daily, for 30 days

Held away from the live records, and proved by an actual read-back test the house can run itself from its own recovered file page.

If we miss it

Nothing owed this month: the promise was kept. A promise with nothing behind it is only a sentence, so here is what a missed month costs us.

Promise kept

At or above 99.9%

At or above 99.9% of the month: nothing owed — the promise was kept.

10% of the fee back

At or above 99%

Below 99.9%: a tenth of the month's fee back, without being asked.

30% of the fee back

At or above 95%

Below 99%: a third of the month's fee back.

100% of the fee back

Below 95%

Below 95%: the whole month is free, and the house may leave that day with its records.

When someone answers

Critical

Answered within the hour, at any hour

Nobody can sign in, or the day's work cannot be done at all. Someone answers within the hour, at any hour, and stays with it until the house is working again.

High risk

Answered within 4 hours, at any hour

An invoice, a payment, the books or a return is wrong or cannot be sent. Answered the same day, with the figure checked against the house's own records before anything is changed.

Medium risk

Answered within a working day

The work can go on, but a part of it is awkward, slow or wrong. Answered within a working day, with a way around it while it is put right.

Low risk

Answered within 2 working days

How something works, or something the house would like changed. Answered within two working days, and a request is answered yes, no or when — never left silent.
